Stroudwater Canal from Whitminster Lane Bridge

The section from here to Saul Junction, where the Stroudwater Canal meets the Berkeley (Sharpness) Shipping canal, is the only restored part of the canal. A low modern bridge in Whitminster Lane currently prevents further navigation. Walking through here today may evoke the sounds and smells (of coal fires) of the canal in Budding's day.
