12th Century Font at Holy Cross, Owlpen

Edwin Budding or John Ferrabee, whose ancestors lived in Owlpen, would not recognise the 19th and early 20th century church, particularly the encaustic tile mosaic designs. But no doubt many a Ferrabee was baptised in the 12th century font.
