Dursley Rivers Works

The site of George Lister's original Rivers Works on the outskirts of Dursley, 2026. Only the mill pond and sluice remain above ground.

Edwin Budding was joint patentee with George Lister on improvements to carding machines and it is said that he was employed by Lister at 'The Rivers' as it was known at the time.
