Collection, Preservation and Display of Old Lawn Mowers

The East Facade of Stratford Park Museum.

The Museum in the Park, Stroud, is housed in a classical 17th centry townhouse. It contains several important artefacts related to lawnmower history. These include Budding & Ferrabee's Indenture Agreement of May 1830 in which they formed a partnership to produce the lawnmower, Budding's original Patent No. 5990 documents, and two of the surviving lawnmowers known to have been made in Stroud.
