Interior of St George's Church, Kings Stanley

From this view towards the altar, only the remains of a blocked Norman window on the top left of the photograph would be recognisable from 1816 when John Ferrabee married Hester Baker here. The medieval south arcade was removed in 1823 and a large reconstruction in 1874/6 by Bodley & Garner was undertaken, including extending the chancel eastwards, according to The Building's of England: Gloucestershire 1: The Cotswolds by David Verey and updated by Alan Brooks.
