John Ferrabee's Property at Brimscombe

The railway line survey of 1836 shows that John Ferrabee owned this property comprising a house and garden, cottage and garden, stables, and a brewhouse. The survey also suggests a projecting wing on the front left side had been demolished, hence the frontage on this side is devoid of the Cotswold stone mullioned and drip moulded windows. In 1836 John rented out all four parts out. Many years later his son Henry lived in The Lindens.
