Merrick family graves at Sapperton Church

In the foreground are the graves of the parents of Arnold Merrick, who drew up and witnessed John Ferrabee and Edwin Budding's May 1830 indenture agreement on the lawnmower. The grave to the left of them is unmarked but could be that of Arnold Merrick himself, who died in 1849.
