Stroudwater Navigation at Upper Framilode

In the early 19th century one Thomas Beard was lock keeper here, according to Stroudwater History. Edwin Beard Budding's mother's surname was Beard although it is not known whether she was related. The Stroudwater Navigation joined the River Severn at Upper Framilode.
