This unique Machine is designed to be really serviceable on either small or large Lawns. It works so remarkably easy that the use of it will be found quite a pleasant exercise even for Ladies, its moderate price places it in the reach of every one.
It cuts 12 inches wide, the strength and capacity are sufficient for the grass of any ordinary Lawn, and a given area can be cut by two boys with two of these Machines in less time than it could be by two men with a machine double the size. The chief peculiarity in the construction consists in casting in one piece the frame which carries the cylinder and other working parts, the handles being of wrought iron; thereby securing lightness and strength, and that perfect simplicity in the arrangement of all the parts which renders the machine easy to manage and keep in order, there is a lever for throwing in and out of gear. and a box to collect the cut grass. The machine is self-sharpening, and works very smoothly, without any objectionable noise. Cash price complete £4 10s.
