Hope Mill
Hope Mill was built in the Georgian period between Thrupp and Brimscombe. In 1829 it was bought by Robert Bamford who, on 6 July 1843, lent John Ferrabee the money to buy Thrupp Mill and its associated land and buildings on the 5 July 1843.
Hope Mill is lucky to survive, albeit reduced in height. The style and look were certainly similar to the upper Thrupp Mill, as seen in photographs from the early 20th century.
