Brimscombe Court
Brimscombe Court can be seen on the hillside from the Thrupp "meadows" site. The house was once owned and built as Newhouse by the Wathen Family. John Ferrabee rented Thrupp Mill from them until he purchased the works in the 1840s.
The buildings in the foreground did not exist until the latter 20th century. This site was a meadow in Budding & Ferrabee's day.
