Junction of Querns Lane and Querns Road
Arnold Merrick resided on Querns Road. He drew up and witnessed Edwin Budding and John Ferrabee's May 1830 indenture agreement on the terms and conditions of the future Budding's Patent (No. 5990). He was also an early owner of a Budding's Patent Lawnmower, in 1831.
The Cirencester workhouse was built in 1836 and for a time Querns Road was known as Workhouse Lane.
