Bowbridge Lock and Mill

Bowbridge Lock is a mile down the Golden Valley from the site of Thrupp Mill, on the Thames and Severn Navigation and adjacent to Bowbridge Mill. One of the few surviving buildings on the site has been converted to residential use. The minutes of the Thames and Severn Navigation company's books on 29 November 1836, record that John Ferrabee had let his premises at Bowbridge as a timber yard.
