James Nelson & Sons of Leeds, Budding Patent Retailer

The firm of James Nelson had been in practice since at least 1822. In 1845 they are listed as Brass and Iron Founders, Ironmongers, Silversmiths and Whitesmiths.

Later, in 1886, James Nelson & Sons also had London premises at 10 Royal Arcade, Old Bond Street.
