Budding Patent Retailer - Stothert and Walker of Bath

Stothert and Walker of Bath was another Budding Patent Lawnmower retailer listed in Ferrabee's Gardeners Chronicle advertisements in 1848.

This entry from the Bath Directory of 1850 lists the business at Northgate Street in the city. The separate listing for Stothert Rayno and Pitt is the forerunner of the business that became Stothert & Pitt, which was a major engineering company over the next century and a half.
