St. Mary's Church, Frampton-On-Severn

Frampton-on-Severn is the parish to the west of Eastington. The Gloucester to Berkeley Shipping Canal, which was being constructed when Budding was a young man, runs close by this church. The canal gave safe passage to ships from Sharpness docks up to Gloucester, avoiding the treacherous tidal currents and sand banks of the Severn Estuary.

The church is located at the end of a lane next to the Gloucester to Berkeley Shipping Canal.
