Gloucester Street, Painswick

The town of Painswick is said to be the "Queen of The Cotswolds".

Edwin Budding in visiting his father in-law or simply traveling on business between Stroud and Gloucester would certainly have passed up this street. Modern double yellow lines ensure this view of a compact Cotswold town contains no cars detracting from the architecture.
