Hello, from Chicago,Illinois. So glad I found you folks. I love restoring old tools, Stanley planes and now doing my first reel push mower. Several years ago I purchased a new American brand push and Its made in China. It works ok and I found the workings to be very interesting. I then bought a "Certified LawnMower" type 62. ( name printed on wooden handle). Now researching old mowers companies in USA. Pennsylvania looks to be the largest from years back. If any members have more info would love to hear from you.

I just find the cast iron parts so amazing, What went into casting them, truly great craftsmanship. Thanks again for reading.
