Any clues in numbers etc on the casting? Although it's similar to a Villiers carb, it doesn't match any I've seen.

I'm assuming from the photo, engine is a Villiers   Mk20  or Mk25  engine, C25, etc.   various minor name changes, laterally called the Villiers C30 in the 1970's.

Fitted to an Atco.   Carb. is a Villiiers  S19/2  or similar.   Very popular carb. fiited to Atco Mowers, notabbly Groundsman 28"  and Dennis Paragon, and many others.

Villiers Slide carb.'s  in various sizes, i.e. S19, S22, S25,etc... A lot fitted to Motorbikes as well as Villiers Industrial Engines.
