Good afternoon

I have a Webb 18" Petrol mower that i have stripped down, cleaner, rebuilt the engine, painted everything, new bearings where they were worn. and I will get new wooden roller turned.

My problem is that i am now trying to reassemble the left hand side which is where all the drive trains are. I did take the precaution of taking photos before i took it all apart. but i failed to check how good those photos were - lesson learned.

I need some help please determining how it all fits. i have worked out how the three chains go and where the tensioners sit my main issue is how the rear roller clutch is positioned and operates and also how the large central sprocket is situated on the other smaller sprocket to drive the rear roller.

I have been an aircraft engineer since my RAF apprenticeship 50 years ago , so I can work most things out, but this has me stumped.

I have obtained from here the operation and parts manual but it seems to bear little resemblance to what i have in front of me. Webb 1476 is the model number on the front of the parts manual.

Can anyone help ? do you have  photos of the drive train and clutch mechanism. I have been looking at this three dimensional jigsaw puzzle for the last month trying to work it out before turning to you guys.

Thanks so much for reading this far

Colin
