Looks like some kind of Suffolk or Qualcast to me.

However, as always with sidewheels, the details that could reveal more are likely to be on the wheels, the wooden handle, and any badges attached at the handle. If you could post some additional photos that would be great, especially if they show any wording on the wheels or any words, numbers, or letters on any other castings.

At a quick glance in passing the yellow colour, if original, might infer that was retailed as a Littlewoods. From this distance they look to be rubber tyres; an earlier version with cast iron treads may be marked as '' Made in England '' ''S2'' and Oil.

As Keith says it's all in the detail; critical points are not visible.

Suffolk Superb & Supreme spring to mind as I believe were often yellow, although those I have seen have 1960's tubular handles & possibly the 'Spinney'?

I have a couple of pictures of the outsides of the wheels I can see the number A1 and the patent number on them

Also picked this up , a make I didnt know of, Its a nice mower oiled it and adjusted the handles and blade and its working a treat. Any idea what year it would be roughly?

Flowing on from my last comment, I see on another forum the mower has the two patent numbers often seen on Follows & Bates mowers. So assume could be a Folbate, I know there was one with rubber tyres.

Advertising for the Greens Monitors. Nice little mowers, I certainly enjoy using mine.
