Ransomes conquest (help please)

Breaking down a Ransomes conquest, pretty much complete but stuck on cylinder brackets, do I split brackets to get to whatever is inside, is it a resistance fit for which I need to pull it or another way, looks like previously been split or attempted looking at gouge marks

Looks very similar to the Sprite that I rebuilt a few years ago. From memory those arms pulled off as an assembly; but it was a while ago!!
