Thomas Greens & Sons Master Lightweight Reel Mower

I have just obtained a Thomas Greens Lightweight mower, but the top plate is missing. From photos on the net there seems to be a brass plate, possibly a name plate with the serial number etc stamped into it. Can anyone confirm what may have been on the plate and if reproduction plates are available? Also would the serial number be stamped elsewhere on the mower? I'm in the land down under, therefor these mowers are rare.
