Villiers mk6A bottom half needed

Sorry, I haven't got a VI-c  crankcase assembly.

Like yourself, I too try and get good second hand parts, by buying engines for parts, (when I see them)  as  getting somebody to machine the old unit,   i.e.  new bronze mains made oversize and crank mains skimmed, plus splitting the crank and having new bearing fitted, etc

Often you get several engines that look good cosmetically, but when dismantled and inspected, you find they are just as worn as the one you already have.

I'm sure a VI-C  will came along,   I am doing a similar Villiers two stroke on a Shanks, it took me a year to find a barrel for it.

Often we don't want to let costs run away as a hobby on a budget, but alas sometimes if parts aren't forthcoming, you do have to get a professional engine reconditioner or good local engineering company to refurbish the original engine.
