Like many side-wheel mowers the thrower & box were optional extras & most catalogue entries do not show an image of the box, I do have other Shanks boxes including Britisher which I assume may be of similar design.
Would be interesting to see if any members do have images of the Hawk box they could show us.

Excellent Seb, I knew there would be one out there, yes similar to my Britisher box both with simple brackets that are easy to replicate, rather than the more ornate cast ones we often see.
I was asking in anticipation of buying one but unfortunately I missed out, but good for future reference so thanks
Would think its quite a rare thing for early side-wheel boxes to become available, as said, quite an easy one to replicate due to the simple brackets, members often exchange templates & measurements to assist with this.
As Clive says I'd be happy to help with templates and measurements for anyone wanting a hawk box
