My current - well, for the next ten days, until I jump ship after 5 years - employer gives you a mirror after 20 years, so you can see what the place has done to you!

Its called a Conduit, the maker is J.Haskell of Ipswich, long standing companies often sourced gifts locally and the gifts ranged from Clocks, pocket watches, cutlery set, wristwatch and gifted them to employees for long service.

I stumbled across this watch when I was looking for another side wheel mower and decided to buy it instead and add it to my collection.

My grandfather received a wristwatch for 20 years service from the Imperial Metal Industries Ltd in 1971 which was passed down to me, I keep it stored away to hand down to my youngest son when he is of a responsible age.

Lawnmowers are like motorbikes, they only come out when the weather is suitable so I have a few other hobbies to occupy my time indoors.

That is so funny.

The company I work for is pretty good at gifting but I would much prefer a watch with an inscription on the reverse if I ever make retirement at the same place.

Probably have an inscription on the reverse, "Left because of Corona" 32 years service, well you can get knocked down by a bus and they class it as corona.
