Antique Sicle Push Mower

I have a push mower that I have had for about 45 years and am trying to find some information on it. It could be described as a sicle type push mower. In size, it is about as big as one of the old reel type mowers. The handle is wood T-shaped. It has two cast steel rear wheels that are 8 inches in diameter and have the name "CLIPPETTE" cast into the side of each wheel. There are two smaller steel wheels, 3 1/2 inches in diameter forward of the rear wheels. Protruding to the front is a sicle type assembly that is 12 inches wide and the cutting blade slides from side to side as the mower is pushed forward. This operates much like the old sicle mower cutters that attached to the side of a farm tractor. There are no markings on the mower that can be used to date the mower but I believe that it predates the old reel type mowers.

If anyone has any information on this mower, please contact me by email at JimBgrass@aol.com                  Thank you.
