Auto Certes - worn land roll clutch?
I am new to the forum and this is my first post, so please be gentle with me.
I am currently replacing the clutch cable on an Auto Certes I am renovating and I have been using the great technical advice on the various Auto Certes / Marquis forum posts here. However, I am not sure what the ferodo pads should look like on the clutch chainwheel, should they be flat on one side and protrude out on the other side or is this a worn out unit and the pads should extend out on both sides?
If I can work out how to post pictures I will.
Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Thanks Wristpin for the prompt and useful reply. I hadn't realised the pads would move if i gave then a bit of a bash with a soft hammer. I'll get right on with it tomorrow morning. Thanks again, Dave

Welcome.
From new the pads are central but on some used machines they migrate a bit but it doesn’t seem to make any difference to the operation . On used machines I usually find that they are reasonably free and can easily be pushed central but sometimes need a careful tap with a soft hammer. A recent post from another contributor to this forum says that on one of his machines, the pads are stuck off centre but if it’s an issue a little careful and gentle persuasion should sort it.
