hi peeps im about to restore a 1963 ish hayter 26" haytermower with a villiers engine and roller propelled im looking for a pair of rollers and a bottom plate (the disc the c type blades bolt too) dose anyone have such items or know someone that dose. the photo i have added is the machine i have except mine has a upright fuel tank which i belive was a addition from hayter the villiers fuel tank was horizontal. hope to hear from someone many thanks james

Try going back another 10 years, I am fairly certain that the Condor had fully replaced the 26 by 1973. I would try contacting Hayter directly, they may have old stock (last time I heard, they never threw anything away, though this might have changed since Toro took over).

I surmise that the disc is damaged, but which disc is it ? the pressed steel one or the dural plate one ?

Also what is wrong with the rollers, just about the only thing I can remember going wrong with them is that the rubber coating ripped off.

hi my friend i did try hayter for parts sadly no good, im hopeing to get it in the shop this week and strip it down, i have dug my way into the shed to get at the mower unfortunately i did not realise the shed had a leak and the top of the cutting deck has gone, allthough that is not the end of the world, through the hole i can see the disc and it is very rusty and flakey also the end of the right roller is also very rusty and flakey, i was just trying to prepair my self for the worst case scenario. it was sat in a puddle.i will know more when i get it striped i did not know there were two disc types, mine i think is a sort of upside down saucer/bell shape rivited to the shaft end plate.
