Hi there.

Can any please assist with regards to the amount of tension that needs to be adjusted on the reel cutter chain. There is a large amount of slack and when I move the adjuster all the way in there is still some slack. I don't want to damage anything.

Sounds like you've simply got the chain loop on wrongly, plastic adjuster hits the outer, not inner of the chain, they very rarely wear so much that they're very sloppy at maximum adjust place.
