Hello,

Looking for a replacement carb for a qualcast 35s and can see some aftermarket versions on ebay but not sure on their quality. can anyone recommend one?

Odd, only yesterday I pulled out a complete second hand Del'orto carb. assembly, including air filter and inlet manifold, it's just as I removed it from an engine about twenty years ago, will need cleaning inside and out, I can put a pic up tomorrow night, if you're interested?

I also have another brand new version with the 90 degree choke lever as fitted to the Tecumseh engines on the Bosch machines.

i just joined the club being an owner of a Qualcast Suffolk Punch 35S that has sat in my shed in Sydney, Oz for 20yrs. As part of bringing it back to life to cut my (soon-to-be-laid) new lawn, I am interested in options for new gaskets and possible carb replacement. Are you able to recommend a good supplier who can deliver to Australia? I have seen some options on eBay from China but not sure of quality etc. As you can see from the photo below, the unit needs a bit of TLC!

I have bought the made in china carb for 35s on eBay ,and was surprised at how good it was cost approx £10 , if you get something that's no good just return within 30 days ,get your money back
